The basic strategy I had in mind to start the game was originally with the go to challenges in mind, which would've scored us a lot higher

It was to churn as much of the easy challenges done in busy places as possible while hopefully the other team would go for one of the boroughs. We headed for Trafford to split the points between Manchester and Trafford and assumed that even if you tried to overturn our score of 8, it'd be a massive waste of time because you'd have to go out of your way to get the higher scoring parts of the borough

The Warburtons factory in Bolton turned out to be a massive diversion for three points we couldn't exchange for curses.

so by the time we got to Bury we were quite behind. Worse, I realised immediately what team 1 okaying us using the Warburtons factory points probably meant, that you were going for our endgame plan in Tameside

We realised that without those points we weren't going to win so after the break the plan changed from knocking out the boroughs to getting to Tameside ASAP while flipping Manchester on the way

So the story there is that I was copying challenges out of a text document into a spreadsheet (much easier to sync to the app) but saw only after I'd done it that some of them (in red) were expected to be removed. (This is why they have non consecutive ID numbers.) I therefore moved them to the bottom of the spreadsheet in case there was a decision to add them back, since I didn't know the reasons behind the exclusion. When I checked, the decision was to keep them out, so I didn't include them in the export for the app. But the spreadsheet was then circulated and used as a reference, causing confusion due to these removed challenges... we'll have to be careful not to cause that sort of confusion again for sure
