The detailed description wording of the challenge is "Both teams must find the most expensive Hotel, Hostel or Inn that they can find. The most expensive hotel wins". The short description of the challenge is "Locate the most expensive Hotel/Hostel/Inn etc"
If we read the basic description as saying that anything is included, via "etc.", the detailed description would immediately contradict that, as it does not include or imply any "etc."
A managed apartment is different from the category of "thing" that contains Hotel, Hostel or Inn, for several reasons. Hotels, Hostels and Inns all have room for more than one booking. Managed apartments are self-contained units. By comparison to a managed apartment, Hotels, Hostels and Inns are all relatively similar to each other, so the inclusion of "etc." implies that only more things of this type might be included in this list, not something that is more different, like a managed apartment.
Therefore we rule that managed apartments are not included in this challenge.
