Looks like the four teams have all picked separate areas of the city. Probably won’t be seeing any battles soon. My guess is the first battle will probably come from team 1 once they finish up the Battersea Power Station station branch

I was so confused for a minute when looking at #game-announcements then realised that team 2 and 4 colours are switched in the claim map lol

Good question. There's no immediate way. You can see which challenges teams have been assigned by going into individual links, and do process of elimination

I would have thought that was a good plan, But if the other teams aren't trying to block each other too much I guess they end up quite far behind

I’m not sure entirely what happened, but they abandoned a “south of the river” strategy pretty fast. That area’s still pretty open

I almost feel like this could use something like the area bonus from Battle for America to balance the station spacings, but I’m not sure what. Maybe longest journey, measured in physical distance? Or longest span between two stations?

I am assuming the other teams are going to go full aggro on yellow after lunch otherwise they are going to just carry on away into the distance

Do you go with tube distance or real world?

My thought is real world to encourage going for spaced apart stations, as a lot of the other incentives are stacked towards close together stations

Yeah I see whta you are getting at, I need to have a proper read thorugh the rules for this one

One key rule is that stations can only be battled for if you control an adjacent station. And so far, team 3 and team 4 have kept their stations pretty clumpy, so there relatively few places to battle

Gah team 3 and battling team 2 well team 4 is picking up more stations, think that may be a mistake

I remember after tag 2, they said that Sam didn’t get a final run after Ben’s because even if he could make it so that Adam would win, he couldn’t win himself. It almost feels like we’re getting to that territory

I think that’s at least partially because there’s only team 4 stations around where their last challenge stations. They could head over to Bond Street to go after team 2, but it would be a bit of a long journey
